Buy outs and cash grabs!

Time Warner’s bandwidth caps, bit torrent trackers being shut down, and Oracle buying Sun. Grab Java and MySQL while it’s still free, and doesn’t cost you a bajillion dollars per kilobyte to do so.
Time Warner really irks me the most, it’s the most blatent grab for cash. I could never hope to break it down better than Ars Technica. Check out the following link, http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2009/04/the-price-gouging-premiums-of-time-warner-cables-data-caps.ars Totally, will ditch time warner. I’d urge you to do the same.
I’m really concerned about MySQL as well, Oracle has always been one of those uber corporate corps to me. After Sun bought MySQL, the open source downloads were buried in the site. Here’s hoping that it doesn’t disappear altogether. Lets not forget about OpenOffice, the best office suite out there in my opinion. Does everything Micro$oft Office does, but for free!
